Sorry for the lack of updates, after Megan was eliminated I just didn't feel any motivated anymore.. but here's to a fresh start.

01. Anoop Desai
Caught Up
I SO disagree with the judges on this and I could care less if Anoop talked back to Kara. I thought it was nice to see him go upbeat again and this time I didn't think it was a mess like his, "Beat It". Usher is a great artist for him to pick songs from. And so it seems like he's only good at ballads as the judges try to point out to him. WELL, he can't sing ballads like every fcking week. He'll need to change his tempo at times. Gosh. Whatev, I still love this and the studio recording is amazing.

02. Megan Joy
Turn Your Lights Down Low
So I thought Megan has a real advantage with this theme because I know of a lot of songs that could have sung and had a moment with but, I do respect her picking this. After relistening to it, it wasn't as bad. It was good but not great. I hated how the judges bash her for it, I didn't think it was as bad as they made it out to be. It's like the judges "don't get" her. This is pretty much the artist that Megan is. If she would've sung stuff from like Adele, then they still would've gotten the same vibe from her. PS. She looked gorgeous again that night. <333

03. Danny Gokey
What Hurts The Most
I still don't get the over praise for this. I thought it was good but not as great as the judges made it out to be. I love this song a ton but I felt that this was a type of song that anyone could sing and do it just as good to average. I didn't find it was vocally challenging at all. It was just another average typical song. And of Danny would be the one to pick a cheesy love song. obv.

04. Allison Iraheta
Don't Speak
UGH. The judges kept rambling on and on about her outfit. Seriously, does it matter???! o.0 Whatever, I loved her outfit, I thought she look like a cute punk rocker. lol Anyways, I remember liking this performance so much but I don't think I like it as much as the studio version. This was very good and I'm glad that she picked another current song.

05. Scott MacIntyre
Just The Way You Are
So he is still one of my least favourites but I have to say that this was probably his best performance he's given since the finals and about damn time. I still think he overstayed his time. Eh, we all knew that he could sing Billy Joel anyways. :P I don't know, I just find him extremely boring.

06. Matt Giraud
You Found Me
So Matt decided to perform in the audience-- that's new. I thought it was pretty cool. But UGH, I disagree with the judges on Matt. I actually really enjoyed his performance. I thought he picked a really current song which is awesome. I thought he was showing his artistry because this is the type of music he should put out. Whatever judges. Oh and the studio recordings is AMAZING. It's like one of my favourites.

07. Lil Rounds
I Surrender
Now if people were saying that Megan is a joke, take a look at Lil. She's pretty much a joke as Megan. I really didn't get her song choice at all, she is not Celine so I didn't think she shouldn't have chose it. I thought going into the finals, Lil was really struggling in finding the right songs because she's pretty much a generic diva so she would have had to find songs that made her stand out from the crowd and with this, she didn't do it. The whole performance was just pretty generic. Kelly and Anthony did this and I thought they pulled it off really well.

08. Adam Lambert
Play That Funky Music
Yay for Adam going upbeat with Anoop. Anyways, I'm pretty much infatuated with him after watching this. He is just an amazing talent and I love it when he goes upbeat. He uses his head voice when he does ballads and with this, he just lets it all out. I love to see him have fun with it. To be honest, I didn't think the vocals were perfect but he sure knows how to give a performance!

09. Kris Allen
Ain't No Sunshine
Now THIS is artistry. [/Kara] This was probably the best of the night by miles. I love when Kris performs like this. He knows what type of artist he is and he knows how to change up songs to make it fit him. This was perfect. Ahhh. So in love. <33 The studio recording only gets better... :P
